On 12/8/23 my formal District Manager Terrence Brown came into the store location, with Loss Prevention and wrongfully terminated me on grounds that were fabricated to have me fired to cover for his negligence.

Have spoken with Terrence on multiple occasions, letting him know the severity of the staffing issues at the location.

Terrence advised, that he had other stores with bigger issues than the Lakeshore, store and any help get would be limited because they needed his help. This has been an ongoing issue for months with no support. On 12/6/23 received a call from Laura Madison lead sales person letting me know the DC truck driver informed her he could not deliver the shipment to the store due to the back room being impacted the Driver began to take picture of the store and stated he’s reached out to the DC and the DC reached out to Terrence letting him.

On 12/7/23 Terrence came to the lakeshore store to take pictures of the backroom stating he received an email from someone at the DC about the truck Delivery.

Then stated to him that it’s only 2 people working at the location. Theirs no way you expect all this freight to be done with only a few people. let him know that would be reaching out to HR and The Divisional Vice President Donna Hernandez.

Because this is unfair and unacceptable for me and my employees to suffer without support. He tells me if I want to keep my job to start putting freight out now.

He closed the store and left at 1pm saying he’s going to look for someone to help with freight and returned at 8pm ,sale lead Laura asked Terrence I thought you were going to get us help to work the truck his exact words were, couldn’t find anyone to help.

The termination had nothing to do with safety concerns this was retaliatory and wrongful termination, documentation stating that the location has exceptions due to the stockroom being small and being critically staffing per Terrence.

All of this was done once I called him out for not supporting me throughout the time he has been the district manager for 942.

A witness Laura Madison of him telling her it would’ve just been quiet and continue to talk about Dollar General and not say anything about him would’ve still had my job.

He’s has also coerced, the current Assistant Manager Of the location, Rondell Chambliss not to transfer to the location stating, he will never become a store manager working under my leadership stated anything that comes out of lakeshore will not be associated with him. Trying to keep him at the other location.
