My topic is over stress and sleep or injury prevention in fitness, specifically RICE (rest, ice, compress, elevate). The information is from the textbook Modified Mastering Health with Pearson eText for My Health Bundle with 3rd party eBook by Rebecca J. Donatelle. I need a one page, double-spaced essay over the topic I choose but I need an essay over both topics. Use my material to follow the directions.

My topic is over stress and the value of sleep, and how to get good sleep. I chose to write about sleep and how to get good sleep because I know from my experience as a college student, I find myself overstressed by homework and deadlines that I choose to cut out some of my sleep time so I can get more work done and be more productive and get better grades. But sometimes I end up hurting myself because I have no energy to study, to eat, etc.
Chapter 3, is over stress. I chose to create a button because it is small, easy to carry, and cute to pin on a jacket or bag.

– Spend time in the daylight.
– Stay active.
– Use comfortable pillows, bedding, and mattress.
– Create a sleep “cave.”
– Condition yourself into better sleep.
– Avoid foods and drinks that keep you awake.
– Don’t drink large amounts of liquid before bed.
– Don’t toss and turn.
– Don’t nap in the late afternoon or evening.
– Don’t read, study, watch TV, use your laptop, talk on the phone, eat, or
smoke in bed.
– Don’t take sleeping pills
