The purpose of the “Chamber of Commerce Recruitment Presentation” will provide you with the opportunity to role-play in such a way that you are acting as the Chamber of Commerce President who is recruiting new businesses to come to Ancient Israel by presenting the possible reasons you believe God might have considered when He originally selected this area of the world for establishing a new religion. Granted, we cannot know the mind of God in determining this issue, however, we can theorize and consider in an academic way a number of possibilities that will come as a result of our Week #2 studies that made this part of the world so unique and would foster the development of a business. What is it about this area in terms of geography, economics, and strategically one could capitalize for beginning a new business?

In order to be successful with this project, you will want to be sure that you complete all of the required readings and materials provided in the course and you are free to seek additional resources that you believe will be of assistance in your presentation. You will want to be sure that you use the MLA Citation Format to identify your resources and avoid plagiarism through the use and application of in-text citations on your slides as needed.

The great part about this assignment is that you are not limited in your presentation format or process. This is where you can demonstrate your creativity and use of technology to develop a presentation that you could use on the road as you travel from place to place in your recruitment. You are encouraged to demonstrate the advanced functions of your multi-media program or software so as to maximize your skills in this presentation.

Suggestions for your presentation and possible media include but are not limited to the following: PowerPoint Slides (10-15 maximum); Prezi; a 5-7 minute Infomercial; YouTube video 5-7 minutes; Story Bird; Infographics; or any other software program that you feel comfortable working with. You will not receive deductions based on the type of format that you use, but will for the lack of quality and failure to maximize the technology for communicating your message.

Project Requirements:

Research your course materials and additional resources for the development of a “Chamber of Commerce Recruitment Presentation” using your choice of multi-media to develop a presentation to recruit new businesses to come to Ancient Israel based on the possible benefits you have discovered in your studies that might have led God to start this new religion in this part of the world.
You are not limited in the use and type of multi-media and technology that you use in the development of this presentation.
Be sure to cite all of your work using the MLA Citation Format and include full bibliographic material and in-text citations to identify your resources.
