Examine the role of supply chain management in business outsourcing.

Program: DBA in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Logistics I will be working on my first applied doctoral research project (ADRP) class. This will be the first step for a DBA Doctoral Candidate in the process of developing and completing my applied doctoral research project (Applied Doctoral Research Project I, and the other classes below II, III, & IV): Applied Doctoral Research Project I This course is the first step for DBA Doctoral Candidates in the process of developing and completing their applied doctoral research project. Doctoral Candidates will develop Section 1 which includes the Foundation of the Study to include a detailed Literature Review relevant to the proposed research study. Applied Doctoral Research Project II This course is the second step for DSL Doctoral Candidates in the process of developing and completing their research project. Doctoral Candidates will develop Section 2 which includes their methodology for conducting the study and combine it with Section 1 into a single document. Candidates will complete and submit their IRB package and conduct their proposal defense. Applied Doctoral Research Project III This course is the final step in developing the dissertation manuscript. Doctoral Candidates will conduct their field study, analyze their data, and present their findings and develop Section 3 of their dissertation. Candidates will combine all three sections into their completed dissertation manuscript in preparation for their dissertation defense. Applied Doctoral Research Project IV This course is the last step in the DBA program. Doctoral Candidates will defend their applied doctoral research project and finalize their manuscript. Thesis Topic: I have to submit my thesis topic before I can register for the first Applied Doctoral Research Project I class. I would like to get help with selecting one of the topics below. I also need a thesis statement done with the chosen topic. This statement will describe the work I plan to do on my thesis also. Keep in mind this Thesis will be for an Applied Doctoral Research Project (for BDA program in Supply Chain Management & Logistics) with three steps (or classes), (Applied Doctoral Research Project I, II, III, & IV). The final class (Applied Doctoral Research Project IV) will be to defend my overall research project. 1.Examine the role of supply chain management in business outsourcing 2.Study on the roles of supply chain management in corporate outsourcing. 3.Gasoline shortage, but not because of lack of supply, caused by lack of truck drivers transporting the fuel from refineries to stations 4.Barriers to implementation of an efficient supply management system 5.Is DDMRP a better solution to balancing supply and demand? (The tool that manufacturers have used for decades is traditional material requirements planning (MRP) software; recently some literature on demand driven MRP (DDMRP) have been written suggesting that traditional MRP has flaws while DDMRP resolves those flaws). 6.Rental car shortage due to short supply of semiconductor chips impacting the auto industry 7.Supply chain and business logistics: Examining the relations 8.Examine the role of supply chain management in business outsourcing 9.Implementation of Green Supply Chain Management Practices 10.Lumber shortages and escalating prices 11.Evaluating risks involved in a supply chain 12.Evaluating effects of information dissemination and sharing among intermediaries in a supply chain 13.The Relationship between Total Quality Management Practices and their Effects on Firm Performance 14.Supply Chain Management Practices and Supply Chain Performance Effectiveness Note: Pending on the type of work you do on this thesis statement, I will consider seeking your service for all the sections of this research project (dissertation).
