This experiential learning exercise gives students the freedom to enjoy art and design in a real world setting. Students are asked to view a work of art (in or around campus), visit a gallery or museum, or choose their favorite building, artist, designer, or architect. Examine the work, write about its importance to you personally, why you selected it, how it impacted you, and how it informs your design for project 3 ( design of office space). Submit an image of your selection that includes the artist, date, medium, etc. Consider the principles of art and design while you are viewing the piece and allow those to inform the narrative that you submit in a 2-3 page written analysis.
