Guidelines: Should be about 1 ½ – 2 ½ pages.
After reading three of the four articles (your choice) available in the module for this week,
1) discuss nonresponse bias.
Include, for example:
• What is it?
• Why is it important?
• What are some reasons for it and ways to deal with those reasons?
• What is propensity to respond? (we referred to ‘reluctance to respond’ in the Power
Points)
• What are some of the common nonresponse issues for college student surveys?
2) share what you find most interesting/surprising in the readings.
3) Please share your observations, experiences, thoughts about ways in which you can or may
relate to nonresponse bias and/or your general reaction to the articles.
