The students will then write a reflection paper based on two (2) of these videos. Students will be required to attend one (1) in-person or online group meeting, of their choosing, and provide a reflection of their experience.
For the written reflection, consider some of the following questions:
What techniques did the group facilitator display that encouraged member engagement?
Was the group cohesive? If so, how do you know?
What verbal and nonverbal attending did you notice that fostered diversity of group members? If this was missing, what would you recommend to ensure inclusion?
What stage was the group in and how did the leader manage the tasks of that stage?
What leadership traits or skills do you believe were helpful or unhelpful to group process?
What would you have done the same or have done differently as a leader facilitating the group?
***Three separate reflections are due and each reflection is a minimum of one (1) page in length.
