The purpose of this assignment is to look at a 70+ year old person and look at their development through four periods of their life. (Childhood, Adolescence, Early/Middle Adulthood, Later Adulthood). You must also link the person’s life story to the developmental psychology research that you started in the Module 4 assignment.
You have already selected your participant and provided some demographic information about them in the Module 4 assignment. This information will make up the first part of the paper
You have already created a list of questions in the module 4 assignment. Additional questions should be added to the list and an interview, or more likely, a series of interviews with your participant, will be required to collect the depth of information needed to complete this assignment.
Once the data is collected, you will write the story of this person’s life from a developmental psychology perspective. What were the physical, cognitive, and socioemotional developmental aspects of this person’s life during the four periods. You will also connect the person’s life to the scholarly research you have completed. You should plan on writing about one and one half to two pages on each of the four periods.
The paper should be a minimum of 7-pages, but not more than 9-pages, and use APA 7 format. The page requirement does not include the title page or the reference page.
A typical paper would consist of a title page, one-half page discussing the participant demographic information, 1.5 – 2 pages on each of the periods, One half page conclusion indicating what you learned from this assignment, and a reference page.
You must use a minimum of five scholarly peer-reviewed references as part of completing this paper. Two of these references were found in the Module 4 assignment.
