Using the resources attached Respond; To start, do you feel that standards would be different if companies like Perdue were in a different form of economic system like pure capitalism or pure socialism? Would you hold the position that any purely socialistic (or a communistic economy for that matter) would have any more success in today′s world than its initial results in the like of the USSR or even more recent comparisons like Venezuela? To move moreso onto the ethical side of the discussion, Which position would you be taking for this argument? Would it be that Perdue Farms Inc. is morally wrong from the deontological perspective because the company should be acting as everyone should act, which is to not overproduce chickens in such a way? Or would you hold the position that Kant does not view animals bred for slaughter the same as he views humans when one of his main points of the Categorical Imperative is to not use others as a means to an end?
