Write a COVID response paper – Covid and health inequalities

This assessment is a writing a response paper, Please write on the policy paper on Covid link below. Mark required 50%. This module is examined in part by an essay. You will be provided with a policy paper and expected to write a response paper to it. This should include a summary / overview of the policy paper and the key points made, and a critical evaluation of the paper in light of existing data, evidence, articles etc. It will test your ability to synthesis and apply knowledge to a particular issue in global health, to engage in critical analysis and develop independent critical thinking. You will be expected to apply the knowledge learnt through the course to a global health issue addressed in the policy paper, and you will be expected to go beyond the material delivered in the core teaching. Marks will be awarded for demonstrating breadth of knowledge, analytical depth and evidence of independent thought. The maximum word limit is 2500 words, excluding references. Please see the guidance on the documents attached. Read the article pick out the key themes and respond to it as to why you agree with it or disagree with it. Find papers to support your points in response and then critically analyse any papers you have found in contrast to the paper below and why the papers you have found have more significance or less significant. So for example look at the methodology for example and how reliable they are. How it may have affected a country look at numbers / statistics. Is the paper convincing and why? Sir Michael Marmots work on health inequalities reference his work. How has the WHO dealt with the pandemic? Critical analysis of the causes of the global inequality in health and health care.
