Critically assess how the American Constitution has changed over the course of its history: What have been the primary modes, or processes, of constitutional change? Describe at least two of these modes of constitutional change and at least two prominent examples of each mode. What is your normative assessment of the processes through which the American Constitution has changed over time: Are certain modes of constitutional change better, or more legitimate, than others? Should the processes of constitutional change be adapted to meet the circumstances and challenges of today and the foreseeable future? On what grounds do you make those judgments?
