Growth & Development is now over and during this last half of the course, you have learned many new concepts that help to explain Human Development from Adolescence through Death and Dying. You have learned how concepts in each of the biosocial (body growth or psychical development), cognitive (brain maturation, language or thinking concept), and psychosocial (personality or emotional development) processes influence the ongoing continuity and change during each of the life span stages.Imagine that you are having a conversation with a family member, fellow student or a co-worker. Select three interesting development concepts, one each that represents a biosocial, cognitive and psychosocial development for each of the four life stages:Adolescence and Emerging Adulthood (Ch. 9, 10, and 11),Adulthood (Ch. 12 and 13),Late Adulthood (Ch 14 and 15), andDeath and Dying (Epilogue).Write a minimum of four paragraphs, one for each life-span stage. Each paragraph should include the followingIdentifies a biosocial, cognitive and psychosocial concept for each of the four life-span stages.Describes each development concept using terminology and descriptions from the Berger etext.Apply each concept to your own or another person’s development by describing examples as to how the concept is displayed in the person’s development.Reflect on how the concepts you have identified and described in each life-span stage are being used or can be used in your personal life or future career.
