Eventually, you discover 5 kilos of [drugs used in the paper], a firearm and [other evidence of your choice] in the house and a drug lab next door. In your paper, take the reader from the moment of the stop to the conviction, acquittal or incarceration of the participants. Remember, you must demonstrate your understanding of the court system. Consider the following questions:Who gets arrested? How do you safeguard your evidence, including statements so they can be used in court? What laws give you the authority to search, obtain statements and enter a person’s residence? As a minimum, use at least three appropriate cases to substantiate your actions.
